Marco Antonio Rodríguez-Acosta is a Venezuelan criminal defence lawyer with a distinguished track record in the strategic defence of complex international cases. His practice focuses on high-profile cross-border criminal matters, with particular expertise in passive and active extradition proceedings involving Venezuela, Spain and other jurisdictions.
He has played a significant role in criminal cases that have contributed to shaping Venezuelan case law, developing a comprehensive approach to complex litigation and international criminal defence. His work includes representation in matters involving organised crime, transnational offending and large-scale criminal proceedings requiring coordination across multiple jurisdictions.
Dr Rodríguez-Acosta also advises clients and law firms on international criminal defence strategy, legal research and crisis management in cases with both judicial and reputational implications.
